Our host, Becky, was an absolute delight. She went above and beyond our expectations as a host. The accommodations were fantastic and the view of the countryside from our room was beautiful. The village of Dowlish Wake was very charming and with the Perry Cider Works steps away and the New Inn pub right down the lane for good food and beverages a real plus. If you are there the first Sunday of the month, go to The New Inn for quiz night, so much fun!

We were so fortunate to stay here at this special, beautiful, peaceful B&B. Becky really looked after us so well; starting from tea and delicious homemade biscuits on the patio on the edge of her garden, which is fabulous, so this was a treat. Our bedroom was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, immaculately clean together with a super bathroom, large, fluffy towels and gorgeous toiletries. Becky catered for our vegetarian diet with a tasty, fresh breakfast... we felt incredibly spoiled and really didn’t want to leave... so we shall just have to come back as soon as possible!

My sister and I had 3 nights at Brook House: a lovely stay in every way. We had an excellent room each and enjoyed sitting in Becky’s beautiful garden. First-class hospitality from Becky. Jam included cream tea on arrival. For nature lovers like ourselves, this was an ideal holiday base: a quiet, peaceful village within easy reach of delightful gardens such as Forde Abbey and Cricket St Thomas. Highly recommended for adults wanting a restful break.
